Many world leaders congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his win in the run-off election, in which he secured more than 52%, beating his top rival Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Erdogan’s win was congratulated by Afghan leaders and also the interim government.
