بانوان: امارت اسلامی محدودیت بر کار زنان و دختران را بردارد

Women who became unemployed after the issuance of the decree prohibiting women from working in non-governmental organizations, asked the Islamic Emirate to remove the restrictions on women's work as soon as possible.
These women said that providing a work opportunities for women is the responsibility of the Islamic Emirate.
Mashhoda worked to support her family financially and she said that knowledge and work are a basic right of everyone.
“Most of the family’s breadwinners are women in Afghanistan because they don’t have brothers and fathers. Instead of depriving women of the right to work, the government should provide them with the opportunity to work,” said Mashhoda.
“Our request to the Islamic Emirate is to cancel the ban on work for girls and women for Eid and allow us girls and women to participate in the development of our country as members of society,” said Sema, an employee of an organization.
The Islamic Emirate said that work is ongoing to return women to their duties if there is no Sharia problem.
“Work is underway in this regard. In the section that does not have any Sharia problem, God willing, the situation will be favorable,” said Zabiullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate.
Earlier, Richard Bennett, UN special rapporteur for Afghanistan, said at the 50th meeting of the Human Rights Council that in the past 21 months more than 50 orders have been issued against the women and girls of Afghanistan by the Islamic Emirate.
The decree banning women from working in non-governmental organizations in Afghanistan was issued more than six months ago.
