وزارت صنعت و تجارت با شش نهاد تفاهمنامه همکاری امضا کرد

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with six foreign aid agencies.
The spokesman for the MoIC, Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, said that aid agencies will implement development projects for professional skills training and business development support for entrepreneurs.
“The program to support private entrepreneurs, support women weavers and artisans, local economic activities, and small and medium businesses will be implemented in the provinces of Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Helmand, Farah, Jawzjan, Bamiyan, Samangan, Faryab, and Badghis,” said a spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Economy said the role of supporting institutions will be effective in reducing poverty and growing small business activities.
“The support of non-governmental organizations plays an effective role in the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and creates job opportunities, economic growth, and poverty reduction,” said Abdul Rahman Habib, spokesman for the Ministry of Economy.
Meanwhile, economists said that the support of enterprises in the industry section is effective in increasing jobs and economic progress.
“If these projects are evaluated and planned in a basic and standard way if they are implemented, they can play an effective role in the growth of the country's economy,” said Qutbuddin Yaqobi, an economist.
Based on figures of the Ministry of Economy, now 59 non-governmental organizations are active in the development of commercial activities and support of small and medium enterprises in the center and various provinces of the country, which cooperate in the areas of creating work opportunities for artisans, the economic empowerment of women and capacity building and professional training.
